Clarimedix was founded in 2006 to develop a pipeline of products based upon a novel platform technology for the treatment of conditions associated with vascular dysfunction. The Company’s pipeline of products includes treatments for Cerebral Vasospasm, Raynaud’s Syndrome, and Alzheimer’s Disease.

The Clarimedix technology is a light-based medical device in the form of a flexible patch applied over the region of interest. By using a proprietary “formulation” of light developed by Clarimedix, the technology is capable of triggering targeted, localized and controllable production of nitric oxide. This naturally-produced molecule is a well-known vasodilator and neurotransmitter capable of increasing blood flow, reducing vasoconstriction, reducing inflammation and improving oxygen delivery to areas that have been deprived.

The Clarimedix approach is not only groundbreaking because it may effectively treat these difficult to treat conditions, but because it represents paradigm-shift advantages over traditional drug approaches. Non-invasive dosing, localized therapy (avoiding systemic side effects), and a significantly lower cost and time of development than typical drugs are all benefits that result from our unique approach.
